Resident Nurse/ Specialty Nurse

Resident and specialty nurses are senior staff nurses or nurse clinicians with expanded roles and responsibilities. They are trained in assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating the clinical management and standards of care for a designated specialty or specialised section. Resident nurses work closely with the attending consultant and clinical nurses in managing a specified group of patients. They are the clinical resource person in the designated specialty.
