The Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme at NHCS is an essential component of comprehensive cardiac care. Our outpatient programme provides evidence‑based, medically supervised rehabilitation to support patients following cardiac events or interventions.

The programme aims to:

Patient Care Second chances: He had 4 cardiac arrests by age 32, now wants to share his love of golf Mr Wee He Sheng experienced multiple cardiac arrests since 2019, starting at age 29, requiring CPR, AED and an implanted defibrillator for unexplained VF. Associate Professor Ching Chi Keong explained cardiac arrest requires immediate intervention as the heart stops beating, unlike a heart attack. Mr Wee needed an ICD for his condition. Despite four cardiac arrests, Mr Wee played 36 holes of golf in 2024, now inspiring others by promoting the game and highlighting life's fragility.
