Staff nurses provide optimal care to meet desired patient outcomes and experiences through patient/caregiver health education on disease process and compliance to the prescribed care and treatment as appropriate. They also act as the liaison between patients and families and multi-disciplinary health care team to coordinate continuity of care throughout hospitalisation and transition to home/community.
