Patients who qualify for subsidies

Singaporeans or Permanent Residents can enjoy Specialist Outpatient Clinic (SOC) Treatment with government subsidies if you:

Are referred by a Polyclinic
Are referred by a public hospital where received subsidies
Are a CHAS cardholder referred by our CHAS doctor and
Do not request for a preferred specialist.

CHAS and Pioneer Generation Card Holders
With effect from 1 September 2014, Pioneers Generation (PG) and CHAS-cardholders will be able to enjoy additional subsidies at Specialist Outpatient Clinics. Middle and lower income households can apply for the Health Assist Card to enjoy subsidies at participating General Practitioners. Patients will receive team-based care led by an assigned specialist, and may not be attended to by the same doctor for every visit.

Should you request for a preferred doctor, please note that you will be charged as a private patient.

Private Patients

You are a private patient if you:

Specify the name of the specialist you wish to see. OR
Are referred by a private practitioner or hospital. OR
Are referred by a public hospital where you are a private patient. OR
Are a foreign resident or non-resident of Singapore.

For some private patients, there may be times when the doctor is unavailable due to some emergencies. When this happens, the clinic staff will inform you that another doctor will be assigned to see you instead. If you are not comfortable with this arrangement, you can let the clinic staff know so that she can re-schedule another appointment for you.
