NHCS Nursing Informaticists

Nursing Informaticists (NIs) are Staff Nurses or Nurse Clinicians who oversee the integration of data, information and knowledge to support decision-making by nurses in the clinical area.

Currently, nurses handle various IT systems in their daily clinical work whilst caring for patient. 

With major breakthroughs in medical technology and information systems, nursing informaticists play a vital role in providing guidance and education to clinical nurses to ensure delivery of efficient and safe patient care.
