Theia Health, a deep tech spin-off, was founded to address a critical bottleneck in cardiovascular care by automating and accelerating cardiac Computed Tomography (CT) scan analysis using Artificial intelligence (AI). Originating from the APOLLO (AI driven national Platform for CT cOronary angiography for clinicaL and industriaL applicatiOns) project, multidisciplinary collaborations between clinical researchers, radiologists, and AI engineers, the company has developed MedClarity—a cutting-edge AI platform capable of generating diagnostic-quality cardiac reports within minutes, significantly reducing reliance on manual interpretation. The technology has reached key milestones including multi-hospital pilot deployments, and research collaborations with public healthcare institutions.

Theia Health has attracted strong interest from public and private hospitals in Singapore and across ASEAN. The company is in the process of securing regulatory approvals, with Health Sciences Authority (HSA) clearance and other ASEAN market authorizations expected soon. These efforts are complemented by early-stage discussions and planning for FDA and CE submissions to support future expansion. The platform has also drawn attention from pharmaceutical companies, research organizations, and insurers who see significant value in its potential to streamline cardiac diagnostics, enable structured data capture, and enhance patient risk stratification.

Looking ahead, Theia Health plans to scale MedClarity internationally through a combination of licensing, white-label partnerships, and co-distribution models. Future enhancements will include multi-disease AI modules (e.g., lung and liver CT), real-time federated learning infrastructure, and broader regulatory clearances to enable safe, scalable deployment across diverse healthcare systems.
