Visiting a Patient

Visiting a patient at NHCS

Register to Visit a Patient at the Wards

Are you visiting a patient at Ward 44, 47, 56 or Intensive Care Unit at SGH? You can register online prior to your visit and skip the queue at the SGH's Visitors Registration Counters. This helps to manage the number of visitors to the wards, allowing for a more convenient and hassle-free visit. The system also facilitates contact tracing for the safety of our patients and visitors when the need arises.

You can also register at SGH's Visitors Registration Counters at Block 4, 5 and 7.

Visiting Hours and Policy

To ensure that our patients have adequate rest, we request that visitors come during the visiting hours from 12pm to 2pm and 5pm to 8.30pm. To protect our vulnerable patients and your loved ones, all visitors are encouraged to do an ART self-test before visiting, and to refrain from visiting if unwell.

We also request that visitors be sensitive to the needs of other patients during the visiting hours.

Please avoid bringing children below 12 years old to the hospital. We discourage visitors from bringing children and babies to the wards especially the High Dependency wards, Intensive Care Unit and Intermediate Care Area. This is in the interest of their safety as they are more vulnerable to infection. Persons who are unwell must not visit any patient.

Visiting the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

The ICU is a restricted area as the patients here are critically ill and require intensive monitoring. We allow only five visitors, inclusive of caregivers, at any one time during visiting hours.

Thank you for your co-operation in helping us to keep our patients, your loved ones, safe.
