More than treating the heart

Living with cardiac amyloidosis can affect a patient's mobility, physical function and overall well-being, as well as place practical and emotional demands on patients and their families.

Our multidisciplinary team supports patients beyond their cardiac treatment. Specialist nurses and pharmacists provide education and treatment support, while frailty assessment and physiotherapy help identify and address changes in physical function. Medical social workers provide financial and psychosocial support where needed.

By bringing these services together, we aim to support not only the disease, but the person living with it.
