This programme aims to equip participants with strategies to manage stress, burnout and compassion fatigue following medical emergencies.

Course content

• Challenges and difficulties faced by nurses
• Support for nurses following medical emergencies
• Guidance to manage stress, burnout and compassion fatigue
• Guidance and advice: breaking bad news, giving difficult information, responding to possible reactions, supporting patients and their relatives after they have received bad news
