Basic ECG Interpretation II

Course objective

This programme aims to enable the nurses to acquire the skills and in-depth knowledge on ECG interpretations, nursing interventions and location of myocardial infarction in 12-Lead ECG.

2. Rhythm Analysis – Narrow & Wide complexes tachyarrhythmia
3. Axis deviation
   
4. 12 Lead ECG Interpretation and location of Myocardial Infarction
   
5. Cardiac Pacing – Temporary and Permanent Pacing

2.5 days

Timing

​Day 1 & 3      :​   8am to 5pm

Day 2            :​   1pm to 5pm

​Written Test :​   2pm - 3pm (1 week later)

Course fees

$400 (excluding GST)

Target audience

• All Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses who have successfully completed Basic ECG Interpretation I.
• Registered Nurses with Advanced Diploma in Critical Care Nursing are exempted from Basic ECG Interpretation I. They are eligible to enrol for Basic ECG Interpretation II.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded:

• A certificate
• 10 CPE points
