Basic ECG Interpretation I

Course objective

This programme aims to enable the nurses to acquire the basic skills and knowledge in ECG, cardiac arrhythmias and 12-lead ECG.

Course content

1. Cardiac anatomy and physiology
   
2. Introduction to basic ECG
3. Understanding the basic ECG monitoring
4. ECG Interpretation and Rhythm analysis
   
5. Performing 12-lead ECG

1.5 days

Timing

Day 1: 8am to 5pm

Day 2: 8am to 1pm

Course fees

$300 (excluding GST)

Target audience

All Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with 1 year post-registration experience in the clinical setting.

Award certification

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded:

• A certificate
• 6 CPE points
