Patient Counselling Course

Course objective

This programme aims to equip nurses with the necessary counselling skills to attend effectively and appropriately to patients and their family members.

Course content

  1. Identify the elements of counselling
  2. Recognize the qualities of an effective counsellor
  3. Create self-awareness during course
  4. Apply counselling skills
  5. Recognize the ethical issues in counselling practice
  6. Conduct basic counselling with problem-solving model
