This programme aims to enable the participants with:

  1. Critical background knowledge pertinent to the care of collapsed patients in hospitals and clinics, especially cardiac arrest patients.
  2. In-depth knowledge and skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  3. Strategies to manage stress, burnout and compassion fatigue.

  1. BCLS Update & Chain of Survival
  2. Airway Management
  3. Electrical Therapy
  4. Overview of ECG Interpretation and Arrhythmias
  5. Assisting Registered Nurses in the Management of Patients with Medical Emergencies
  6. Organisation of Resuscitation
  7. Post-resuscitation Care
  8. Code Blue Drill
  9. Managing Stress, Burnout and Compassion Fatigue

Target audience

Enrolled Nurses who are working in the clinical areas (at least 1 year) / Enrolled Nurses who has completed Cardiac Nursing Course for Enrolled Nurse (In-Service)

Written assessment and skills competency assessment

Award certification

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded:

  • A certificate 
  • 12 CPE points
