About Researcher

Dr Zhao Xiaodan is currently Senior Research Fellow in National Heart Centre Singapore. Dr Zhao was awarded PhD degree major in Computational Mathematics from Nanyang Technological University. After graduation, she started to embark an interesting and brand new interdisciplinary – medical image postprocessing and analysis and quickly expanded her knowledge into Bioengineering and Translational Medical Imaging.She demonstrated noticeable abilities in building collaborations with local and international researchers and clinicians, yielding 60 journal publications and 90 international conference presentations. She was awarded 1st prize twice in Young Investigator’s Competition in local and international conference, and awarded the National Medical Research Council Open Fund - Young Individual Research Grant (OF-YIRG) in 2019.
