Profile

Clinical Assistant Professor Go Yun Yun is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore. Her subspecialty interests are in echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.

Clin Asst Prof Go specialises in multimodality cardiac imaging. She is board certified in transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography and advanced intra-operative transesophageal echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography (USA) and the European Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (Europe). She is also a Level III cardiac magnetic resonance reader, certified by the Society of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (USA) and the European Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (Europe). She is both a fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE) and the Society of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance (FSCMR).

Clin Asst Prof Go was the recipient of the ASEAN Pre-university Scholarship in 1999 and the National Research Foundation-Ministry of Health Healthcare Research Scholarship in 2011. In 2015, Clin Asst Prof Go was awarded the Exxon Mobil-National University of Singapore Research Fellowship to pursue advanced cardiac imaging research under the mentorship of Professor Stuart Cook, director of National Heart Research Institute Singapore. In 2017, Clin Asst Prof Go was awarded the Healthcare Manpower Development Program Fellowship and she was trained in advanced stress echocardiography under Professor Patrizio Lancellotti, past president of the European Society of Cardiovascular Imaging.
