It can be incredibly challenging to know what to do with chest discomfort and elevated cholesterol. Many people are obtaining their information from less than reliable sources like social media and the Internet, and it can be incredibly confusing to many about how to go about dealing with these concerns in an already fast-paced and incredibly stressful world.

In this public forum, we will aim to discuss strategies tailored to reducing your cholesterol naturally as well as with pharmacology, and use a multi-disciplinary approach to tackling the problem. We will also talk about chest discomfort and how to go about seeking help.

Assistant Professor Fam Jiang Ming is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS). He is also the Deputy Chief Medical Informatics Officer at NHCS. His clinical interest is in interventional cardiology.
Assoc Prof Tan Swee Yaw

Associate Professor Tan Swee Yaw is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore. He is experienced in the field of cardiac CT angiography and has published extensively in this area. Additionally, Clin Assoc Prof Tan has research interests in exercise physiology, sports cardiology and preventive cardiology, and has published peer review journals on these topics.
