Overview
The inaugural NHCS Perfusion course is here! In this 3.5 day program, various contemporary perfusion topics will be presented alongside with sharing of several cardiopulmonary (CPB) cases encountered in NHCS. Few sessions of OT observation visit will also be incorporated in the program to complement the overall learning experience. The program will culminate in a high-fidelity simulation training using the Califia simulator on CPB and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) cases for participants to enhance both their technical and communications skills in managing crisis events.

Immunisation requirement: Immunisation requirement as below to enter the operating theatre for the observational visit to protect our patients and staff.
If applicant is unable to meet the immunisation requirements, $300 will be refunded and applicant may continue to attend the lectures and simulation session but not the OT visits. Replacement of registrant is not allowed.
- Hepatitis B: 3 doses of vaccination AND serological evidence of immunity with anti-HBs concentrations of of ≥10 mIU/mL
- Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR): 2 doses of vaccination for all 3 diseases OR Serological evidence of immunity of all 3 diseases (Rubella >=10 IU/L)
- Varicella (VZV): 2 doses of vaccination OR Serological evidence of immunity
- Tetanus, Diptheria and Pertussis (TDap): Vaccination taken in the last 10 years. Vaccination has to be valid throughout the attachment period
- COVID-19 Vaccination (WHO-EUL approved listing): Vaccination details
- Influenza – latest strain (if applicable): Vaccination details
Interested applicants should register and make payment in the link above, then submit the completed immunisation form (download below) together with their vaccination records and serology test results endorsed by a certified physician. Detailed instructions will be sent upon successful registration and payment.
Cancellation is not allowed after registration.
