Objectives

To provide training in the theoretical and practical aspects of cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR)

Duration

6 - 12 months

Content

Core Curriculum

• Basic cardiac anatomy and cardiac morphology
• Basic CMR sequences, including MR angiography
• Understand basic CMR physics and safety aspects of CMR
• Understanding ECG gating and physilogical monitoring in CMR
• Performing stress CMRCMR clinical case reporting
• CMR quantification
• Participate in CMR research

Admission Criteria

• MMed, MRCP and its equivalent
• Completed at least 2 years of general training in relevant areas of Cardiology, Radiology or Nuclear Imaging
