About

Cinical Assistant Professor Yap Kok Hooi is a Consultant from Department of Cardiothoracic Sugery at National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) and KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH).

He graduated from Dundee Medical School, United Kingdom in 2009, and subsequently completed his Foundation Year and Core Surgical Training in the UK. He then joined the Cardiothoracic Surgical Residency Training Programme in National Heart Centre Singapore. Along his clinical career, he also successfully obtained MSc Degree with Cardiff University, UK and has published numerous academic publications.
Clin Asst Prof Yap has particular interest in cardiothoracic surgical research and congenital heart surgery.
