Dr. Jason Leung is a Consultant from the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at National Heart Centre Singapore. He graduated with departmental distinction from Duke University (USA) with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree, and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore. He trained in cardiothoracic surgery under the SingHealth Cardiothoracic Surgery Clinician Scientist Residency Program. He treats patients with cardiac and thoracic disorders.
Aside from clinical and surgical work, he has also studied the topic of chronic graft rejection following lung transplantation while at Duke University, and his research is published in peer-reviewed journals. He received the Pratt Fellowship (Duke University), National Institutes Cancer Research Training Award (Bethesda, USA) and MOHH Clinician Scientist Residency Seed Funding (Singapore) and completed a Masters of Clinical Investigation at the National University of Singapore.
