Dr Hong Rilong is a Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) and Changi General Hospital (CGH). His clinical interest is in Heart Failure, with a clinical focus that spans the entire continuum of care—from acute management in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to long-term care in the community. His expertise also includes Pulmonary Hypertension and multi-modality cardiac imaging, specifically Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology.
A dedicated clinician, Dr Hong was a recipient of the Best Practice Medal (Care Redesign) at the National Healthcare Innovation and Productivity (HIP) Medals 2024 for his work in improving safety for patients on ECMO. He is also actively involved in medical education as a Clinical Instructor at Duke-NUS Medical School and has been recognised with the NUS Junior Doctor Teaching Award.
