Research Administration Support

The Research Administration & Development Office (RADO) is setup with the aim to provide exceptional support for NHRIS's research in order to catalyze and preserve research productivity of the institution. The administrative office plays a pivotal role in promoting a vibrant research culture within the institution​ through facilitation and provision of resources. RADO works closely with the clinicians and researchers at NHRIS as well as external collaborators to​ nurture ​research excellence in both basic and translational science. 

Our Work​

As a research administrative office, RADO has the shared responsibility for research development, compliance, and administration at NHRIS. Together with our clinicians, researchers and principal investigators, the office supports and ensures all research projects and activities adhere to NHRIS's research policies and meet its obligations to external grant agencies/ sponsors.
The office provides the following but not limited to these supports:
  • ​Provides management support for the institution'​s research mission
  • Enhance a culture of academic research integrity and promotes responsible conduct of research
  • Committed to fostering and supporting collaborative and productive projects across cluster institution
  • Identify research funding opportunities and help establish partnerships​
  • Review and negotiate research agreements; and acceptance of all awards and agreement
  • Coordinate internal and external reporting needs, including maintenance of NHRIS research database
    ​Active award management of all externally funded awards and ensure proper utilization in accordance of grant policies
  • Responsible for all pre-award function which includes dissemination of information related to research, e.g. funding opportunities, grant calls, course, workshops and seminars​
  • Enforce hospital and grant agencies policies and procedures, and serving as the hospital's liaison with grant bodies and regulatory agencies

Clinical Research Support

Clinical and Translational Research Office (CTRO) serves as an execution arm for clinical research, offering support for human subject research in both academic and industry sponsored studies. We focused in various specialties within cardiovascular area, with studies spanning from clinical research, translational research to clinical trial ranging from early to late phase.

With a pool of experienced and GCP trained team, we support investigators in ensuring the conduct of clinical studies are executed in a quality and compliant manner, and providing end-to-end management, monitoring, and governance of studies.
