In Collaboration with Duke Health
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death globally, responsible for approximately 1/3 of deaths with an increasing trend observed in developing countries. Although there is a vast difference in STEMI care across the world and Asia, we all share a common goal of saving lives from STEMI. STEMI care has evolved significantly over the years and it's important for us to keep abreast with latest developments.
Join us in this exciting session as we discuss the latest updates in STEMI care in 60 mins!
Join us at this interactive and engaging session where we will take a deep dive into the latest clinical trials shaping the application of intravascular imaging in contemporary PCI. We will discuss and learn about new technologies that further enhance imaging performance, including combined imaging catheters and imaging-derived physiology assessment. Finally, we share pragmatic tips on how to apply intravascular imaging in daily practice to optimise PCI results.

MCS supported PCI are gaining more attention in the last decade in Asia Pacific. With the accumulating new evidence, this practice generates more uncertainty and operators are facing interesting difficulty in deciding the best treatment option for this group of patients. By attending this session, the audience will better understand the evidence and the controversy of MCS supported CHIP PCI. The current available MCS modalities and the new pipelines will be discussed. Finally, the session will end with a case presentation of MCS supported PCI, highlighting the decision making process and procedural management.
Nursing and Allied Health Session
As catheter-directed therapies reshape the landscape of acute PE management, nurses play an increasingly pivotal role in ensuring procedural safety and optimal patient outcomes.
This session brings together medical and nursing perspectives to explore the full continuum of PE care — from contemporary treatment approaches to hands-on nursing considerations during and after intervention. Through real-world insights and case-based discussion, participants will leave better prepared to identify complications early and respond with confidence.
In Collaboration With Asia Primary Angioplasty Congress
The most robust indication for PCI has always been in the patients with ACS. Emergency PCI in this setting saves lives and reduces long term morbidity. PCI techniques in ACS have evolved significantly over the years but there are still gaps in our understanding andopportunities for further improvement.
Join us in this session as we discuss the challenges and best strategies in managing ACS patients in the setting of cardiogenic shock and large thrombus burden. We conclude the session by exploring the novel use of drug coated balloons (DCB) and biodegradable scaffold in primary PCI.
In Collaboration With Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology
This session promises to be a practical one delving into commonly encountered challenging LM scenarios including calcified LM nodules as well as ostial LAD lesions. TIps and tricks from experienced speakers and panel to improve your practice will be shared.
In Collaboration With Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology
This session proves to be an exciting one touching on one of the hotest topics in structural heart interventions. The talks will delve into the field of electrosurgery for mitral valve interventions and will give the attendee a deeper insight into how to perform the different electrosurgical procedures.
Nursing and Allied Health Session
Transcatheter aortic valve implantation has transformed the treatment of aortic stenosis, and with it, the demands placed on the multidisciplinary team have grown significantly. This session traces the full TAVI patient journey — from pre-procedural assessment and planning through to intra-operative monitoring, early complication detection, and discharge planning.
With contributions from both medical and nursing perspectives, participants will develop a deeper understanding of the nurse's evolving role in delivering safe, person-centred TAVI care.
