Acute Coronary Syndrome: Do we know everything already?

In Collaboration With Asia Primary Angioplasty Congress

The most robust indication for PCI has always been in the patients with ACS. Emergency PCI in this setting saves lives and reduces long term morbidity. PCI techniques in ACS have evolved significantly over the years but there are still gaps in our understanding andopportunities for further improvement.

Join us in this session as we discuss the challenges and best strategies in managing ACS patients in the setting of cardiogenic shock and large thrombus burden. We conclude the session by exploring the novel use of drug coated balloons (DCB) and biodegradable scaffold in primary PCI.

Multidisciplinary TAVI management from planning to recovery across the patient journey

Nursing and Allied Health Session

Transcatheter aortic valve implantation has transformed the treatment of aortic stenosis, and with it, the demands placed on the multidisciplinary team have grown significantly. This session traces the full TAVI patient journey — from pre-procedural assessment and planning through to intra-operative monitoring, early complication detection, and discharge planning.

With contributions from both medical and nursing perspectives, participants will develop a deeper understanding of the nurse's evolving role in delivering safe, person-centred TAVI care.
