Profile
Dr Joshua Li is a Consultant with the Department of Sport & Exercise Medicine at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He graduated from National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2011, obtained his Master of Medicine in Family Medicine in 2018, and completed Advanced Specialist Training in Sports Medicine in 2022. His clinical interests include sports injuries, endurance sport, and ultrasound-guided procedures.
As an avid medical educator, Dr Li teaches both undergraduate and post-graduate students from the Nanyang Technological University Lee Kong Chian (LKC) School of Medicine, Duke-NUS Medical School, Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine by the LKC School of Medicine, Exercise is Medicine Singapore, and SingHealth Family Medicine Residency Programme. His commitment to education was recognised with the CGH Best Educator Award (Prodigy Award) in 2021.
Dr Li’s research interests focus on esports medicine and elite athlete mental health. Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr Li is also a member of the Singapore national triathlon team, a competitive marathoner and a four-time full Ironman triathlon finisher.
