Profile

Associate Professor Gao Fei, PhD, is a principal medical statistician. Her current research focuses on methods and applications of statistics related to cardiovascular epidemiology. She has a strong interest in public health issues affecting our rapidly ageing population and healthcare burdens associated with aging. Her research areas include heart disease, stroke and cancer, which have had the greatest impact on the aging population.

She is proficient in managing and analysing large-scale prospective studies in cardiovascular disease and cancer. Assoc Prof Gao has collaborated with various medical research projects with clinicians and researchers from the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) and Duke-NUS Medical School. She has authored more than 80 scientific publications.
