Appointment

For appointment matters and to find out what you need to bring along on your visit as well as what information is needed, please refer to this link.

If you already have a scheduled, non-urgent appointment and wish to view, change or cancel your appointment, you may do so via the Health Buddy app.

If you experience great discomfort or need immediate attention, please proceed to your nearest Accident & Emergency (A&E).
Appointments may be rescheduled due to several reasons such as the doctor being unavailable. You may verify your appointment details via the Health Buddy app or by contacting the appointment call centre at 6704 2000.
If the appointment date is impending and doctor-in-charge of the ward does not have any plan for discharge yet, you may postpone the appointment via the Health Buddy app or by calling the appointment call centre at 6704 2000. Alternatively, you may inform the staff nurses in the ward to assist you with appointment matters upon discharge.

Charges and Financial Assistance

Yes, you may use Medisave for outpatient scans for diagnosis or treatment of a medical condition. To find out the applicable fees for the various tests/procedures, please contact the General Enquiry hotline at 6704 8000 from Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm and Saturday, 8.00am to 12.00pm.

Yes, you may ask your doctor to make a referral to the Medical Social Services department for assistance.

Preparation for Tests/Procedures

If you are doing a fasting blood test, you are required to fast for at least 8 hours for accurate test results. If you had forgotten to fast, you may have to do the blood test on the next available working day.
Depending on the type of blood test ordered, the turnaround time for the test results may range between 2 hours to a few days. You may put in your request when making your appointment and we will check if it is feasible.
Our Nuclear Cardiac Imaging department sends out SMS reminders to patients with an appointment. Do take note of your date and time for the appointment. To re-schedule or cancel, please call 6704 8181 during office hours. Please refer to this page for more information on how you can prepare for your appointment.

Digital Medical Certificates

A digital medical certificate (MC) is the online version of a paper medical certificate. Digital MCs can be accessed via a unique link under the main mc.gov.sg domain, for example, https://www.mc.gov.sg/mc/abc12345678.
