  • Capsules should be swallowed whole without crushing or chewing, with enough fluid during or after a meal or snack as directed by your healthcare professional.
  • When the swallowing of capsules is difficult (e.g. for the elderly), capsules may be carefully opened and the contents added to fruit juice or yoghurt.
  • Crushing the contents of the capsule may result in increased exposure of the mouth to its contents which may lead to reduced effectiveness of the drug and irritation.

What should I do if I miss a dose?

If you forget to take a dose, take your next dose as directed by your healthcare professional. Do not take two doses to make up for the missed dose.
