How should Metered Dose Inhalers/Evohalers be used?

You have been prescribed with:

-Salbutamol 100mcg Inhaler (200s) (Reliever)

-Ipratropium 20mcg Inhaler (200s)

-Fluticasone Propionate 50mcg Evohaler (120s)

-Fluticasone Propionate 125mcg Evohaler (120s)

-*Seretide® Evohaler 25/50mcg (120s)

-*Seretide® Evohaler 25/125mcg (120s)

-*Seretide® Evohaler 25/250mcg (120s)

-Beclomethasone 250mcg inhaler (200s)

-Beclomethasone 50mcg inhaler (200s)


*Each metered dose contains: 25 micrograms of salmeterol and 50, 125 or 250 micrograms of fluticasone propionate

Use metered-dose inhalers with a spacer, whenever possible, for better drug delivery.

 STEP 9: Clean inhaler mouthpiece with a dry tissue and replace the cap.
