​Ipratropium is used to help relieve symptoms in asthma and/or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Asthma and COPD affect the lungs which makes it harder for the person to breathe as the disease gets worse. Ipratropium helps to keep the airways open, making it easier for one to breathe.

What side effects can Ipratropium Metered Dose Inhaler/Inhalation Solution cause?

​Some common side effects:

  • Cough/Throat irritation
  • Dizziness
  • Dry mouth
  • Headache
  • Nausea
