Profile

Adj Assoc Prof Chin Chee Tang is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore.

His sub-specialty interest is in interventional cardiology and he performs percutaneous coronary interventions both in the elective and emergency settings. In addition, he also performs catheter-based renal sympathetic denervation for the management of patients with uncontrolled high blood pressure.

Adj Assoc Prof Chin is actively involved in clinical research. In 2010, he completed his Fellowship at the Duke Clinical Research Institute, U.S.A, with a special emphasis on cliinical trials and outcomes research. He presently has a joint appointment as Adjunct Associate Professor at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and continues to collaborate on national, regional, and international clinical studies and trials. In addition to presenting his research at regional and international scientific meetings, he is a reviewer for the American Heart Journal and has also published his original research in international peer-reviewed publications.

He is the chair of the Clinical Competency Committee and a Core Faculty member of the Cardiology Senior Residency Programme at the National Heart Centre Singapore.
