​"I am an Interventional Radiologist and I perform minimally invasive image-guided procedures to treat diseases in most organ systems of the body. Our scope of work is very broad and involves treating cancer (both early and advanced), vascular diseases, dialysis access problems, certain gynaecological issues, bleeding, inserting lines or ports for drug / chemotherapy administration, biopsies of tumours, drainages of infective collections, etc. The list is not exhaustive and our capabilities continue to grow with advancement in medical equipment and imaging techniques. 

The most fulfilling part of my job would be the ability to perform procedures for patients with less pain, quicker recovery and lesser complications. I also enjoy the collaboration with my colleagues in other specialties as we care for the patients of SGH."
