You are invited to the upcoming seminar by Dr Cedric Bardy, Professor and ARC Future Fellow, SAHMRI and Flinders University.
Title: Why do brain cancers resist therapies? Can human brain organoid models help address this unmet need?
Abstract:
In this talk, Cedric will present some recent data from his group showing that the human brain microenvironment induces tumour cell plasticity and changes their sensitivity to chemo-radiotherapies. He will also show examples of leveraging human iPSC brain models to predict chemotherapeutic toxicities.
