Fellowship Training in Cardiology Research

Objectives

Perform research project and analyses
Carry out assigned dueties under specific projects
Participate in clinical research, funding bodies meeting and presentation
Participate in paper and grant writing
Perform experiments with external collaborators (NUS-NTU)
Liaise with clinicians and coordinate IRB proposal submission
Coordinate specified research and development project
Maintenance of proper documentation of study protocols
Maintenance of routine operations and up-keeping
Collation and compilation of scientific data for publication
To get quotations from the suppliers and record all necessary documentation

Duration

6 - 12 months

Admission Criteria

MMed, MRCP or its equivalent.
Completed 3 years general training in Cardiology.
Skilled competency in invasive diagnostic cardiac procedures.
To be eligible for training in Interventional Cardiology,

the fellow should have spent 1 year actively performing procedures. He / She will be continuing an internventional programme in his / her country upon his / her return there
the fellow must have already completed an interventional cardiology fellowship and is able to do intervention/calls as a helping fellow
