Preceptoring Skills Course

Course objective

This programme aims to equip nurses with the knowledge and skills in preceptoring the trainees, newly recruited nurses and nursing students. This programme also aims to enable nurses to demonstrate the ability to use the On-the-Job Training (OJT) design framework.

  2. Effective Preceptorship
  3. Assessment and Planning of Needs
  4. Implementing & Evaluating Needs
  5. Impact of Values on Clinical Practice
  6. The Process of Giving Feedback
  7. Terminating Preceptor-Preceptee Relationship
  8. Concept of On-the-Job Training (OJT)
