Visitor Policy

SafeEntry – Digital Check-in

Please present your NRIC or any official identification document at our Level 2 screening stations to check in for SafeEntry.

To Outpatient Clinics

Patients going to our outpatient clinics are allowed ONE accompanying person each.

You may refer to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for advice on outpatient appointments (including doctor's appointments, blood tests, diagnostic tests), procedures and surgeries. 

All patients and visitors to NHCS are to undergo thermal screening and complete a declaration form at NHCS Level 2. Click here for more information.

To Short Stay Unit and Wards

Our visiting policy to our Short Stay Unit (SSU) and Wards will be revised from 19 June 2020, as part of the national Phase Two (Safe Transition) measures.

Only two visitors* per patient are allowed in the SSU at any one time during our visiting hours.

For ward visitation at SGH, two designated visitors* per patient are allowed in the ward at any one time during our visiting hours. Maximum of 5 different visitors (including caregivers) are allowed per patient per day.

Visitors must bring their own mask and ensure that the mask is worn at all times during the visit. 

*Exclude Isolation Wards
